Very Special Offer for 2008
Realizing that horse folks are dreamers and will always have the desire to breed their "perfect horse", we are pleased to offer, for a limited time, a reduced stud fee on bookings to our stallion, Annapolis.
In 2007, Annapolis was campaigned lightly after one of our mares sustained a catastrophic injury at our first horse show of the year. The "show funds" became "life for Crystal funds." The shows that he did go to were all showcases for his wonderful talent and disposition. He started the show season with quadrilles in which the other members of our team were mounted on mares that Annapolis had bred the season before. He was steady and ever a gentleman.
He competed in the Makel Young Horse Tests for 4-Year-Olds at four opportunities, and placed just tenths of a point behind the 17.2 hand Dutch Warmblood favorite each time. He moved up quickly from Introductory Level to First Level in his first year of showing with no score posted below 67% while being ridden by his trainer, Stephanie Snyder, and no score below 60% with his amateur owner in the saddle.
In addition, he showed his versatility by placing in the top ribbons in Hunter Pleasure, Sport Horse Under Saddle, and Native Costume Classes while continuing his reign of Champion and Reserve Championships in Sport Horse Stallion In Hand Classes.
Annapolis' first born foals made their debuts this year. From FS Alicia, a brilliant copper filly with four high white stockings and a swoosh of a narrow stripe down her face. Sadly, the filly was born with an in-utero lung infection and did not survive.
His second foal, also a bright copper filly with a straight wide Star, connecting strip and snip and left hind sock, has already won her first Reserve Champion Junior Mare class against the top weanlings, yearlings, and two year-old mares at the Pacific Royal Autumn Classic....this at the tender age of 2-months old! Indiannapolis has proven herself to be quite trainable and is willing to be clipped, bathed, blanketed, and load and unload from the trailer.
We currently have two mares in foal to Annapolis for 2008 Sweepstakes foals. Both mares are available for purchase. Alternatively, we invite you to consider breeding an "Indy" of your own. Annapolis will be available for a special promotional stallion fee of $500.00 (A.I. of Live Cover*), until March 1, 2008. All foals will be Sweepstakes eligible. Fees must be paid in full prior to March 1st to qualify for this discounted rate.
*Chute fees, mare care, collection fees are not included in this offer and will be the responsibility of the mare owner.
